Export Commodities Fair - 2008

and SME Centre are organising “Asian Export Commodities
Fair - 2008” from 10th to 13th January 2008 at the Bandra-Kurla
Complex, Mumbai and “Asian Business Partnership Summit”
on 11th and 12th January 2008 at Mumbai.
Both the events are supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry,
Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, China Council
for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT-HQ), India-China
Business Development Forum and various other organisations from
India and abroad.
The Fair will provide opportunity to exhibit all kinds of export
commodities & products, machinery, equipments, industrial
plants, machine & hand tools, consumer items & durables,
industrial products, electrical & electronics, gifts and handicrafts,
packaging, printing and plastic products, auto components and
accessories, pharmaceutical and medical products, SME products,
high tech products, agro & food products, IT and hardware
products and various kinds of services. We expect visitors - buyers,
exporters, importers, manufacturers and traders from Asia, Gulf
countries, African Countries, Europe, Australia, USA and Canada
to establish contacts with the exhibitors and entrepreneurs.
The Summit is also a unique platform to provide global opportunities
to establish business contacts, enhance multilateral trade / exports,
explore investment and new business opportunities, acquire joint
ventures & latest technology and encourage contract manufacturing
with the participants and visitors from all over the globe. The
Summit includes deliberations on issues pertaining to trade barriers,
WTO, intra-regional trade hurdles, free trade agreements, customs
& trade regulations and the interactive meetings with overseas
delegates, buyer-seller meets, business matchmaking and a series
of Panel discussions & Seminars on various topics to review
the challenges and opportunities available in Asia and other parts
of the world.
Since we are putting in efforts to organise this kind of mega
event, which is equal to the Canton Fair of China, we request
you to kindly provide all support and guidance to make this event
a grand success. We request you to forward this information to
the Ministries of Commerce, Industry, International trade, SMEs,
and national and local Chambers of Commerce, trade promotional
organisations, exhibition organisers, marketing companies, importers,
exporters, manufacturers, buyers and SME sector in your region
